his election and inauguration, examinations of his campaign, children’s
books and of course the best selling books which he himself has
authored.
Books which the President has authored range from autobiographies to
extended outlines of his political beliefs and plans for the country.
His autobiography is “Dreams from My Father”, which discusses his

President Obama tells us of his struggles with racial identity growing
up in Hawaii. We follow his growth as he progresses through school,
becomes an attorney, community organizer and eventually Senator from
Illinois.
His next book was “The Audacity of Hope”. This book is a discussion of
President Obama’s political views. It shows us Barack Obama’s views of
health care reform prior to his election. He discusses his religious
beliefs and how he views of himself as a “cautious liberal” who
questions the wisdom of big government.
Only two months prior to his
election and in the midst of his campaign against John Mccain, Barack
Obama published another book, “Change We Can Believe In”. This was
designed as an in depth look at the countries pressing issues and his
plans to address them if he were to be elected President. We read of his
plans to fix the stalling economy, how we can achieve energy
independence and strengthen the middle class.
